Curriculum
Fun & Creativity
Here at Endevaour we support the children to achieve their milestones through play-based learning opportunities. Activities are set up throughout the day to encourage the children to attempt something new or to provide them with the opportunity to refine a skill set.
We use Story Park as a learning platform which allows active partnerships with the families who are able to view stories and offer feedback on these throughout the day. Family feedback is encouraged and appreciated by the team on all aspects of the Service.
We work collaboratively with Southwest Kinships to offer cultural infusion opportunities within the service. Our educators have participated in cultural immersion training, allowing them to teach authentically and compassionately. We have an active Reconciliation Plan in progress and a team that meets monthly to ensure we are meeting targets and offering the best possible plans for children.
We have an interactive whiteboard that is used to enhance our curriculum. This provides the children with an opportunity to interact with technology in a positive and supervised way.
We use the board for research projects, music and movement time and as part of our school readiness program.
Our team of educators bring their diverse skills into the service to enrich our day. We have Ethan who plays guitar and uses this to bring our Acknowledgement to Country alive. Sylvia, who is training in Auslan and is sharing these skills and knowledge with both the educators and the children. Gorgina is a qualified dance instructor and runs a dance program with the children and Tanya, our fully qualified chef shares her passion of food as a cooking program with the children when she has finished preparing our delicious meals.
